You can delete a tag to remove it from all associated assets and prevent it from being used.

To delete a tag

1. Log in to the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager as a tenant administrator. 
2. From the left menu, select Settings. The Settings page appears.
3. From the menu at the top, select Tags. The Tags table appears.
4. Locate the required tag and select the trash can icon at the end of the row. A Delete Tag confirmation message appears.
5. Click Yes, Delete. The tag is removed from the Tags table under the Tags tab.
   

   Deleting a tag removes it from all associated assets.
