If Active Directory isn't working in a tenant where it is enabled, the tenant administrator can no longer log in. The tenant manager can use the Rescue Tenant feature to reset the tenant to local authentication and send the tenant administrator a temporary password.

To recover the tenant password

  1. Log in to the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI with your standard account credentials.

  2. On the Tenants page, hover over the tenant you want to modify and select Edit.

  3. On the Edit Tenant page, click Rescue.

  4. In the Rescue Tenant window, select Yes, Reset Authentication.

The tenant is reset to local authentication, and the URL, username, and temporary password are sent to the tenant administrator.

If email notifications are set to Off, you will need to see and give the information to the tenant administrator.
