Validation Authority and CA Gateway configurations for all data centers must be regularly synchronized, either by manually backing up and restoring the Cryptographic Security Platform state, or by manually importing and exporting the Validation Authority and CA Gateway configurations.

The configuration can be slightly different in each data center depending on the network topology – for example, different URLs to access Entrust Certificate Authority or the CRL server, or different timeouts.
