Security Manager 8.3.30 introduced a feature for tracking certificate events. This new feature was added to support Entrust CA Gateway and some clients, such as Entrust Certificate Hub. When the state of a certificate changes – for example, from ACTIVE to ON HOLD – the new state is recorded in the UserCertTracking
database table. This feature:
- Applies only to certificate state changes in release 8.3.30 or later.
- Does not capture certificate state changes that occurred before release 8.3.30.
To get a complete certificate status history, run a script that backfills the UserCertTracking
table in the Security Manager database with the missing certificate status events. Security Manager must be one of the following releases:
- Security Manager 8.3.62 or later
- Security Manager 10.0.30 or later
