If you don't want to wait for the CloudKey to be permanently deleted, you can purge it.
CloudKeys created using External Key Manager (EKM) cannot be purged the same day they are deleted. You must wait at least 24 hours.
To purge a CloudKey
- Log in to the Vault web GUI using an account with Cloud Admin privileges.
- In the top menu bar, click CloudKeys.
Click the CloudKeys tab.
Select the key set for the CloudKey that you want to purge.
For Azure, you must also select the type.
Select the deleted CloudKey that you want to purge.
Click Actions > Purge CloudKey.
On the confirmation screen, enter the CloudKey name and click Purge.
