1. Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault Management webGUI using an account with Domain Admin privileges.
  2. In the top right, click the Switch to Appliance Management link.
  3. In the top menu bar, click Cluster.

  4. Go to the Cluster tab.

  5. Select Actions > Startup Authentication.

  6. In the Startup Authentication window, click Edit.

  7. In the Passphrase Based Startup Authentication field, select Enabled.

  8. Enter and confirm your passphrase.

    The passphrase must be at least 12 characters long and include 1 digit, 1 uppercase character, 1 lowercase character, and 1 symbol.

  9. Click Apply.
