You can add tags to the following two asset types:

• Cryptographic assets, such as keys, certificates, and secrets.
• AI assets, such as agents, MCP servers, and tools.

Complete the procedure below to add a tag to an asset.

Prerequisite

Before you begin, make sure you have created a manual tag or an automated tag. For more information, see: Creating a Tag.

To add a tag

1. Log in to the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager as a tenant administrator. 
2. From the left menu, select Cryptopgrahic Assets. The Cryptographic Assets page appears.
3. From the cryptographic assets table, select the required asset.
4. From the menu at the top, select Details.
5. Under the Tags section, click Add Tag. The Add Tag window appears.
6. From the Search tag dropdown list, select the required tag.
7. Click Confirm.
