Creating a tag allows you to organize and categorize cryptographic and AI assets for easier filtering, reporting, and management. 

To create a tag

1. Log in to the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager as a tenant administrator. 
2. From the left menu, select Settings. The Settings page appears.
3. From the menu at the top, select Tags.
4. Click + Create Tag. The Create Tag window appears.
5. In the Name field, enter a name for the tag.
6. Complete the following steps based on your requirements:
   • For a Manual tag,
     1. Select Manual.
   • For an Automated tag,
     
     1. Select Automated. 
     2. From the Select a property dropdown list, select the required property.
        

        An alternative is to use the advanced mode by clicking Switch to advanced. 

     3. In the Value field, enter the required value.
     4. (optional) Repeat steps 6. b. and 6. c. if you need to create a rule with multiple conditions. 
        

        If you are using the advanced mode, use the AND operator to combine the conditions.

        Automated tags are applied automatically to assets that match the tag rule. Assets are evaluated when they are imported and whenever the automated tag is associated with a data source. If an asset no longer matches the rule, the automated tag is removed automatically.

7. Click Create. The tag you created appears in the Tags table under the Tags tab.
