We recommend that you rotate your access keys when:
You have lost the access key ID or the secret access key.
You have lost connection between the external keystore and the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault for Cloud Keys.
You suspect a security compromise.
You have a policy that requires you to rotate your keys periodically.
To rotate the XKS access keys
Log in to the CSP Vault web GUI using an account with Cloud Admin privileges.
- In the top menu bar, click CloudKeys.
In the Key Sets tab, select the Key Set that contains the key you want to rotate.
On the Details tab, locate the External Key Store row.
Click Rotate Key.
